Got the job! Now what?

7 Oct

Happy Monday!

Not only did I have a wonderful weekend in the Pocono Mountains with friends and family, my struggle is over!

Job Announcement

Once I come down from my euphoric high of excitement and gratitude, I’ll start working out my next moves. Here’s a little bit about what this entails:

♦Set a start date at my new job – how short is too short and how long is too long
♦Tell my current boss that I’ll be leaving – awkward but she’ll understand
♦Coordinate moving out of the place I call home – this is the most difficult of all tasks
♦Spend some QT with friends and family before I move 6 hours away – also difficult since everyone lives in different states
♦Whatever else YOU think I should be doing! HELP – I’ve never done this

Current emotion: STRESS! Getting all these things done as well as typical errands is going to be tough.

As I transition through this huge stage in my life, I’ll do my best to blog about the pros and cons, the ups and downs, the unexpected and everything else involved with this big career move, lifestyle change, and its affect on my relationship. In the meantime…
